What you'll be able to do

Outcomes, not hype

A printable workbook, by Miro. AI tools can now copy a voice, make up a video and write a message with no mistakes in it, so the old clues are not much help. This workbook does not try to teach you to spot fakes. It gives your family a few simple moves that still work when the fake is perfect: stop, hang up, call back on a number you already know. You read it together at the kitchen table, fill in the boxes with a pen, practise twice, and put the cards up.

  • Choose a family safe word the right way, and agree that asking for it is never rude.
  • Hang up on any call that asks for money, a code or personal details, and call back on a number you wrote down while you were calm.
  • Keep one clear list of what never goes into an AI tool, a text or a phone call.
  • Check any unexpected call, text, email or video against six stop signs on one page.
  • Open the conversation with an older parent without it sounding like "you are getting old", and set their phone corner up in one visit.
  • Run short, announced family drills so the words are already there when you need them.
  • Know who to contact, in what order, if a scam gets through, with the official reporting sites and helplines already printed and your own numbers filled in.

Honest fit

Is it right for you?

Who it's for

  • Adults who want a plan for their own household.
  • Adult children and other caregivers who look out for an older parent or relative.
  • Families with teenagers. One drill is written for them.

Who it isn't for

  • Anyone looking for a promise. No workbook can stop every scam, and this one says so on its first page. It gives you a plan. It does not make anyone scam-proof.
  • Anyone outside the United States. The reporting sites and phone numbers are US ones.
  • Anyone who needs legal, financial or medical advice about a relative's affairs. The workbook points to official guides and says where a lawyer is the right next step.
  • Anyone who wants statistics and case stories. There are none in it.

AI for Every Age

The course teaches the app; the workbook is the household plan around it.

Questions

Asked before buying

Something else? Write to Miro.

Is this a course about AI?

No. It does not teach any app. It is a plan for what your family does when a call or message asks for money, a code or personal details.

Will it stop my family being scammed?

It can't promise that, and it doesn't. What it gives you is a plan made ahead of time: a word, a callback list, a few sentences you have already said out loud, and a page that tells you who to call.

How is it different from Safe and Simple AI 60+?

The course teaches an older adult to use Claude on a phone. This workbook teaches no app at all: it is the household plan. Some safety advice appears in both, because it is the same advice from the same official sources. If you have the course, the new material here is Parts 6, 7 and 9 and the fuller reporting steps in Part 8.

Are the drills trick calls?

No. Every drill is announced and starts with "This is a drill." The ground rules say never to test anyone with a call they are not expecting.

Where do the phone numbers and reporting steps come from?

From the official pages of the FTC, the FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center, the Department of Justice's National Elder Fraud Hotline and AARP, each read on 5 Oct 2026. Part 10 lists every page. Details change, so the workbook tells you to trust the official site if it differs.

Does it print in black and white?

Yes. The pages you write on use outline boxes with a dark title bar, and every page was checked as a grey image.

Is it legal advice?

No. It is general information for households. Parts 6 and 8 say so on the page.
